Lo, and behold, when I mounted and flew over to the orb, it appeared very different than it had previously. When I returned to retry this quest, I landed next to Kalecgos, dismounted (without any interaction with K), and did /reloadui. The workaround was to dismount, escape from contact with the NPC, and then do a "/reloadui". Since I had been having frequent issues in general gameplay when trying to intereact with an NPC while MOUNTED (for example at mailboxes) in Patch 8.2.5 AND 8.3, I decided to try my workaround to see what would happen. I was having all sorts of trouble as noted in my reply to comment. Comment by WowzirFor those of you attempting this quest in Patch 8.3 and having problems, I have a suggestion!
